You love them. You hate them. But no matter where you come down on New England, give the Pats this: they do Super Bowls right! And New England’s 34-28 victory over the Falcons in Super Bowl LI was no exception. The Pats were down 28-3 with 8:31 left in the third quarter. And then New England scored 31 unanswered points to stun the Falcons. Of Course, QB Tom Brady was amazing, setting Super Bowl Passing records and winning his fifth Title and fourth SB MVP. But Brady had plenty of help, not the least of which was Receiver Julian Edelman. With 2:28 left and the Pats down 28-20, Brady threw a pass to ‘Minitron’ (Julian’s clever nickname) over the middle of the field. Atlanta cornerback Robert Alford leapt and tapped the ball up in the air, two other Falcons, Ricardo Allen and Jalen Collins, converged on Edelman. He was completely outnumbered. The ball, however, somehow stuck on Alford’s foot as he fell back, giving Edelman a split second to squeeze possession of the ball before it fell to the ground, and before Allen and Keanu Neal could get their hands on it. And, of course, after that dazzling play the Pats went on to OT victory, giving them and their fans Trophy #5. Just an amazing, unforgettable play…and game, Julian’s Super Grab is featured in this amazing 11×14 photograph. Our UNSIGNED SGA Signature Series is a Sports Gallery Exclusive display that includes a facsimile laser-engraved signature inset plate, in this case Julian’s autograph. The plate on this beauty also says ‘The Catch’, Super Bowl LI, and the game’s final score. Quality Framed, this is a great piece of Sports Art celebrating one of the most unforgettable catches in New England Patriots football history!
